In order to make the data more meaningful or relevant, there are many ways to filter the data in the BI.
You can filter by the tags we provide from the Bucket/Filebox (label, time interval (date), workflow, file status, etc).
You can also filter by the field elements (captured from the data in your Excel).
To filter the data, click the small black arrow circled in red in the diagram below:
The data captured under that field will appear, and you can both include and/or exclude certain values:
Fig a. shows all values included. Fig b. shows all values excluded.
Multiple values can be selected/deselected based on your search text.
For example, if you want all values with "Americas" to be included/excluded: First select either "include or exclude", then type "Americas" in the search and click “select all.”
Values can also be easily excluded from the include option by un-checking them from the list.
If you would like a field to be filtered from the dashboard, you can select “Show in Dashboard”. This filter will then appear in the dashboard on the widget, and can be manipulated from the dashboard.
**note all the fields can also be filtered (no matter where they are located in the graphing section). However, the fields placed in the “Filter” box do not appear on the visual (table/graph).
